Iran Calcium Carbonate

According to the latest report of the Statistics Center of Iran, the amount of limestone mineral reserves is 17 billion tons, which is 67% of 25.7 billion tons of our country’s mineral reserves, followed by iron ore with 2.5 billion tons of identified reserves, which constitutes 10% of the total mineral reserves of the country. However, the major producers of lime are in North America and Europe.  Besides, limestone suppliers and exporters exist in Asia and the Middle East. The calcium carbonate that is found in Iran has indeed over 99 percentages of purity and whiteness. So, it is considered a valuable commodity to trade and export.

Iran Quicklime

Iran Quicklime, Lime, is produced by heating crushed limestone to about 1100 ° C in a shaft or rotary kiln. As the Limestone heats up, carbon dioxide is released, and calcium oxide remains. After heating, the Quicklime is crushed and milled to a suitable fraction. Quicklime has a wide range of uses in iron and steel, paper and pulp production, treatment of flue gases and water, and other industries. We, Romak Trading Company, are able to supply Quicklime in various size ranges from lump size to fine and micronized powder with different mesh numbers into three-layer polypropylene jumbo bags and AD Star bags.

Iran Hydrated Lime

Lime can be easily slaked by adding water. High-calcium hydrated lime is a dry powder that is produced by combining Quicklime with enough water at a closely controlled rate, sufficient to satisfy the affinity of the Quicklime for water completely. Hydrated lime is commonly packaged into jumbo bags, drums, or also 25 kg AD Star bags.

Calcium Carbonate Features

Calcium carbonate is a useful product that distributes throughout the world. So, you can find it in nature as Limestone and the primary source of calcite in Limestone in most marine organisms. The history of using this mineral goes to 400,000 BC.
Having different forms and chemical compositions makes it attractive to various applications. These minerals differ in chemical composition and physical forms, such as amorphous and calcite. Although these different substances have the same chemical composition, they vary in purity, whiteness, thickness, and homogeneity.

One of the unique characteristics of Limestone is its reaction to acids. Being so inexpensive and having little absorption of oil makes it possible to use in the wide range diffusion. Moreover, the sound of brightness, low hardness, and plasticity are other advantages of this mineral.

Calcium Carbonate Applications

The primary and most popular use of calcium carbonate is as a filler in different industries. Also, it is used in construction industries as a building material and cement, metal extraction, and drilling fluids.  Furthermore, it is a raw material for refining sugar from sugar beet and a purifier in the juice trade, PVC pipes, rubber tires, cloth, pharmaceutical, and many other industries.

Calcium carbonate provider

Romak Trading Company, the reputable global supplier of minerals, provides high-quality raw and calcined Calcium Carbonate/Limestone at a competitive price. Besides, Romak’s professional team can export this useful mineral with regard to various specifications and brightness as grained, powder, and different packaging.
