Dolomite features
Dolomite is a complex mineral with a sedimentary origin that composes 15% of the earth’s crust. It is one of the valuable raw materials used in different industries as a source of magnesia, a feed additive for livestock, a sintering agent and flux in metal processing, as an ingredient in producing glass, bricks, ceramics, and an oil and gas reservoir rock. Because of changes in iron and steel-making technology during the 20th century, demand for specific uses of this mineral has increased. So, most of the suppliers try to present the best Dolomite to their clients.
Dolomite Applications
Due to its properties and utilities, most suppliers offer it as crushed rock, raw, calcined powder, and sand. According to whiteness, purity, solubility, and its hardness is used in different industries. For example, Industrial traders take advantage of the high purity, while in constructions used the low purity one. Besides, its lower solubility makes it more resistant to the acid content of rain and soil. So it is suitable to use in chemical industry and as a soil conditioner.
